On February 4, 2009, we will be having a presentation by a representative from Friends of Scouting from 7:30 P.M. until about 8 P.M. followed by an awards ceremony. All parents should attend both.
Scout Sunday is February 8. As a show of thanks for the church's support as our Charter Organization, we will be attending the 11:00 Mass at St. Benedict's. All Scouts are to report to St. Benedict's School by 10:15 A.M. IN UNFORM. It is imperative that all attend.
Our next outing will be on February 7 at Imperial Ceramics in Gateway Plaza in Hoxie to earn Pottery Merit Badge.
We will be serving dinner at Pack 183's Blue and Gold banquet on March 15, 2009. At that time, we will also be welcoming those Cub Scouts crossing over to our troop.
Our next camping trip will be March 20-22 at Yawgoog Scout Reservation. Please refer to the camping page for information on how to prepare for cold weather camping as March can still be cold and we do not want Scouts getting hypothermic on trips!
