The recent February Shawomet Winter Event was a huge success for Troop 183! We placed in FOUR events: 1st place in the Isotope Relay and Pioneering events and 2nd Place in the Tent Setup and First Aid events. A great time was had by all despite the cold. We also cooked a turkey in a trash can that came out absolutely delicious (even though the judges didn't think so).

We will be welcoming the Senior Webelos from Pack 183 on March 4, 2007 at the Blue & Gold banquet. As always, the boys will serve as waiters and the adults from the troop will be the cooks.

Our next camping trip will be at Yawgoog Scout Reservation in the Anthony Acres campsite March 23-25. We have invited several other troops to join us.
